Comments: I am just going to say if you need any type of insulation, radiant barrier, attic fan or anything like that I would highly highly highly recommend this company. Ramy, the owner,  went way above and beyond the call of duty doing this job. We just had blown in insulation done and while he was doing the work of the insulation any little thing that he found wrong in our attic with our ductwork or AC unit or something that just wasn't right in there he fixed it at his own cost. He also saw a little bit of light coming into the attic under one of the corner flashings on our roof that bothered him so he went up there and fixed that too. They prepped, to protect, my floors and my furniture and my walls so that when they were bringing in the tubing or whatever they use to run the insulation up into the attic in my upstairs it was so phenomenal I've never had a contactor take that much care and they cleaned up all of their mess. I can not say enough good about this company. Ramy the owner is like the Energizer Bunny he is just non stop until he gets the job done.

He took a look and basically said the cheapest way to go was roof vents so we wouldn't have to demolish the ceilings (no attic, so the drywall would basically get all chopped up). I was a bit skeptical since this guy mentions Jesus every chance he can, but said why not as $800 seemed fair enough for 5 vents based on labor, since he did have to chop holes in my roof and seal up the vents later. He did all of it in around 3 hours the same week (plus maybe an hour later to put on more roof tar), always called ahead, and was on time. He didn't have a temperature probe to measure the work, but since he finished, the rooms are a lot cooler and my wife is happy. I found my temperature gun and it's definitely cooler. So given the AC doesn't work as hard and our upstairs stays cool, I'd say he knows what he's doing. I just ignored his constant references to Jesus and blessings and such as I don't hire contractors to spread their beliefs. The guy sounds like a used car salesman at times, but he does seem to know what he's doing, and he does follow up afterwards. So as far as contractors go that's pretty rare.

Comments: Great experience from start to finish. Ramy is great to work with from initial onsite visit to completion of job. He goes above and beyond with full disclosure of the work he does. He shows you how much material he has at the start of the job and again at the end of the job so that you can see how much is used. He even saw and, after letting me know he was going to do it, took care of a few things for me (very helpful!) that were outside the job scope. The insulation blown in exceeded what we discussed. I love that he puts markers in so that you can see the end result of the level of insulation. Ramy maintains good safety practices and makes sure his crew is always safety conscious, safely protected with PPE, and hydrated/fed. He very frequently would ask the crew if they needed water or Gatorade. He even cooked shrimp the night before and provided lunch for the crew! Overall, Ramy is great to work with, and his care of not only his customer but his crew is what makes him successful in providing a quality end product for the customer.

Comments: Rammy (and his team) were excellent! He always gave me full disclosure on the costs of the products he was buying/installing and how much of each product he used in my attic. He even went above and beyond by clearing out years of cable and antenna wiring that were cluttering up the attic, and even cleaned out my AC drip pan for me! The spray radiant barrier and air sealing odors were easy to air out of the house just by opening up a few windows. He was also able to install blown insulation through the attic where one of my attic fans was being replaced to minimize blown particles coming into the house. The end result was miraculous. Not to mention, they were done even before the quoted time. I was amazed! Overall, Insulation Discounters are wonderful. Their expertise were top notch and they were all such nice gentlemen! We just moved in to our house, and as often happens, we were met with some surprise expenses and repairs in the first few weeks. We ended up needing to cut our job in half- doing the ?emergency stuff? first, and planning to finish the insulation job in a few months. When I say Remi and his team went above and beyond, here are just some of the things he and his team did: removed junk the old one era had thrown in the attic, removed a dead mouse the pest/rodent guy missed a few days before (and he had been there awhile- gross!); when he had to reschedule due to overheating workers and an equipment malfunction, he decided to insulate a portion of the space we were saving for a few months from now for free. They cleaned up beautifully, and made a donation to St. Jude and Operation Smile right in front of us. We had the opportunity to talk briefly, and we are so inspired by him. He?s the kind of man you also want as a friend. I can?t wait to save up and have him complete the rest of the house. The insulation was scarce so we used home advisor to filter some insulation companies. Ramey came out and gave it a look and had us a quote immediately. He was up front and honest about what needed to be done and his quote was extremely fair. He is 1000% customer service oriented and goes above and beyond with his work. He provided extra insulation giving us a higher R-rating and sprayed radiant barrier in some areas of the attic that weren’t originally in the quote at no extra charge. Comments: Ramy (sp?), the team lead, was very professional and added extras at no extra cost. He explained the process very clearly and offered good advice on not installing the radiant barrier foil I had purchased due to the difficulty of installing it. He gave me credit for the rolls I bought since he could use them on another job. he recommended spray on radiant barrier which he admitted wasn't as good as the foil stapled to rafters but said it would help the attic temperature and wouldn't degrade as fast as foil. Plus foil can tear and get dirty, increasing the emittance and heat leak. I do thermal work for my job and he impressed me with his knowledge and practical installation tips. After the job was done, he even went to an auto parts store to get some sealer for my chimney and came back with his crew and seal up cracks! The spray radiant barrier won't degrade and I replaced all ductwork with another contractor, so there was going to diminishing returns for the foil radiant barrier, so I went with his suggestion. He installed more thickness than needed in most areas. Good cleanup too and he demonstrated the insulation inflammable properties.

Comments: Incredible company. I posted for quotes on Memorial Day to finish an attic insulation job my husband & I started, then quickly realized we were over our heads. Never expected response that day but Ramy Fahmi called me within an hour. (The two other companies responded by text a couple of days later. ) Mr. Fahmi was the only one that when he met my husband to survey our attic insisted they call me on speakerphone at work to explain everything else that needed to be done correctly. He recommended so many things that the other companies did not even address, and at a very reasonable price. He was hired! He and his crew did an amazing job. Not only did they finish (& repair!) the work that we had started, he went above and beyond the scope of his job. He noticed we had a few shingles that were loose so examined the roof, said it was in great shape but since we live on the coast shingles will get loose and he nailed them back in place. He also noticed that one of our attic fans was not working, he tried to repair that to no avail (not his fault, that thing is so rusty it hasn't worked since we moved here) and gave us options to replace it with another fan of the same type or a newer solar fan. We did not have it done that day but we will have it replaced and he will be the one to do it. He was the most incredible service person I have ever dealt with. He was here when he said he would be not only for the bid process but for the installation, he called both times to say that he was on his way, he and his crew left nothing behind to even show that they were here. He promised he would make us happy and he made us ecstatic. And we feel the difference in the cooling of the house already. I wish he had left a sign that I could put in our front yard to advertise for his company. I wish I could hire him for any repair/improvement we need! He showed that by repeatedly going above and beyond what I expected. He showed exceptional quality by finding ways to blow insulation into parts of my attic that are very difficult to reach. He even renailed some loose roof flashing at no charge, which was not part of the job at all. Plus, he offered a higher R rating of blown-in insulation than two other insulation companies, and at a very reasonable price. Also, when a small redo was needed, he promptly did a fine job with no complaint whatsoever. Ramy is a personable, hard-working good man. I recommend his company and his work with no reservations on any level.

Comments: They blew in 20" of glass insulation, sprayed on a radiant barrier and furnished and installed an attic door tent. They did all this for the same price as their original proposal for just 18" of blown glass insulation. Their work was done in a timely and workman like manner and they did a good job of cleaning up after themselves. I would recommend them.
